Chris Merrill, recently wrote in his blog at millionairefailure.com about a program called Junto. I know this has nothing to do with accounting, but it must be mentioned. Merrill, myself, and 20 other entrepreneurs got accepted into a program called Junto a few weeks back. What is Junto you ask? Well, if you have seen the apprentice, it’s a bit like that. Two very successful entrepreneurs, Greg Warnock and Alan Hall, teamed up to help business owners learn the things about entrepreneurship that you can't learn in the class room. For example - how to talk to complete strangers, sell your product wherever you go, etc. Junto is a program that lasts about seven weeks. It's riddled with challenges that we get to complete, and classes are taught on entrepreneurship each Tuesday night. The public is welcome so come on down if your an entrepreneur or one at heart. You get to attend the classes for free and watch the 20 contestants compete. The classes are from 5:45 to 9:00 PM and they are held at the Salt Lake City Library on the 4th floor.
